I am amazed so much Marley fans here and not many seen Bob live on stage

How is this possible, are you all too young ?

Bob concerts in Germany were between 76 and 80 , nicely to see that Bob have so much new young fans .

My age is 43 , his concerts tickets were sold off already within little time . His last concert in Ahoy Rotterdam is sold off also within little time ( 10.000 tickets ). And that for whole the Netherlands . 3 concerts were sold off also if he comes 3 days in the Netherlands during the Uprising tour .

During his first concert in Amsterdam the whole hall gone flat . The press named him then the black Dylan.

I was a few year ago in Paris en Lyon for my work , the music that I hear was mainly Bob Marley and that more than 20 year after his death .
It says more than enough of the status and music that Bob had in and after his life .

yeah, the Ahoy Hallen concert in Rotterdam 1978... it was initially planned to release this concert on Babylon By Bus instead of the Paris 1978 performance, did you know?

two CDs? so you have one of the bootlegs? did you know they are "only" in mono sound, and that Dutch radios did some incomplete broadcasts in the past in stereo sound, which doesn't sound just excellent, but nearly perfect...!

btw, if you write in English, so do I... most people here understand English..

also wenn ich mir meine DVD "bob marley live" at the santa barbara county bowl 1979 anschaue kommt mir fast das heulen das ich bob nie live erlebt habe .... (war bei seinem tod gerade mal 4 jahre alt ...)

dieses konzert vermittelt so einen geilen positiven spirit ... dazu noch die zeit 79 und die hippies ... wahnsinn

Okay ich war am Bob Marley Konzert in Zürich.Wir waren so heiss
auf das Konzert und es war super. Ich glaube alle waren high.
Sir gaben ihm ein Rennvelo am Anfang.
Am Schluss spielte er den Redemption song alleine auf der Bühne.
Das hat mich wirklich berührt!Deshalb habe ich es nicht vergessen.

ich war 1980 auch auf dem Open Air in München, wenn ich mich recht erinnere, war's im Reitstadion. Das Line-up habe ich allerdings anders in Erinnerung, ich meine, Fleetwood Mac haben vor Bob Marley gespielt. Aber egal, ich habe jedenfalls beide gesehen. Zuvor gab es auch noch Barclay James Harvest. Dass Bob damals nur noch weniger als ein Jahr zu leben hatte, hätte wohl niemand gedacht. Damals hieß es übrigens, er habe Lungenkrebs gehabt, ich bin etwas erstaunt, die wahren Umstände hier zu lesen.
